Q.Rubini was started as a fund raising project for the National Marrow Foundation when Maureen Quinlan's daughter, Emma Rubini, was undergoing treatment for leukemia. Maureen designs and oversees the creation of a collection of little girls "feel good" hand smocked dresses. The project has now become a way for QRubini to partner with a select group of schools, charities and causes in our world community. Currently, QRubini is supporting Waldorf Schools throughout the U.S.
At checkout, the customer chooses a 'charity of choice' from the list of QRubini partner schools and charities. A portion from the customer's purchase (an average of $10 of the sales price) is donated to the customer's charity of choice.
